The process
(Buying
from outside South Africa)
You have been navigating
the Wesley's Display Site, and you're ready to buy.
To make a purchase, you click on
(Remember the colour, design or shape number if there is a choice.)
This will link you
to a brief description of the item - to confirm that it is correct and
to offer you the choice of colour, design or shape number where there
is one. (At any time you can click on "Back to Display Site" to return
to the Display Site.)
Then, click on "Add to Cart" and you will arrive at the invoice where
you can confirm quantities and "Check Out" or "Continue Shopping".
There is also an “Extra message” function which you can use for special instructions, or to include a message if the order is for a gift.
At any
time you can remove items from the "Cart" if you change your mind or find
something better.
When you have finished shopping, click on "Check Out". You will then be
asked to enter your details, credit card details, delivery address, and
to choose a shipping method (see below).
When you click
on the button you leave the Wesley's Display site and enter Wesley's Webshop
- a structured M-Web "Safeshop" site. This is "VeriSign" protected. All your details are secure.
Naturally this means that there are quite a few hidden commands and safeguards,
and these may take some time to download - more at busy computer times.
Please be patient
- it's for your security.
You can access all
products from the Webshop area via the menu down the left hand side, but
it is usually quicker to click on any "Back to Display Site" link and
reach other products through the normal Wesley's Display site.
Buying from outside
South Africa:
Wesley's Website is operated from South Africa. We are equipped to process
international orders - we have been posting to customers abroad for many
years. We use Airmail Parcel post, Insured.
The Prices on the website are in South African Rand (R/ZAR) and include
"VAT" of 14%. Export orders are exempt from the South African Tax (VAT,
14%) when posted directly out of the country.
Our credit card
system (as with most others) only accepts entries in the local currency.
It then charges your credit card system which converts South African Rand
into your currency and debits your credit card account in your currency
at the ruling rate at the time.

So when you buy from our website:
1. You don't have to pay South African VAT
2. You do have to pay different shipping. (See Shipping
Zones) There is a basic Post Office charge per parcel which makes
larger parcels much more economical.
You can order
through the Safeshop where all your credit card details are secure. The process is described above. Or you can order direct from us via e-mail or fax and send us your payment details (via Fax if
you prefer).
USA
Customers please
be aware of the restrictions regarding the importation of Cuban cigars.
UK Customers please be aware of the restrictions regarding the
importation of any tobacco products.
Ordering direct
from us: E-mail your order -
we will send you a quote for the prices excluding VAT, plus shipping.
Ordering via Safeshop: After "Check Out" you are asked to enter your delivery details, and to
select the country from a drop down menu. If the delivery address is outside
South Africa, VAT is excluded from your invoice, and the shipping zone
is automatically allocated as per the country you have selected.
If you have any questions or would like a quote, you can "talk" to us
via e-mail before submitting your
order and credit card details through the safe encrypted process.
Shipping
information
Order confirmation
When you submit your order to us, you will receive an e-mail confirming
that we have received your order and are processing it. Please contact
us if you do not receive an e-mail from us within five business days of
placing your order.
Shipping confirmation
You will then receive a second e-mail from us at some point to notify
you as soon as your order has been shipped. This second e-mail should
include tracking information.
Any orders placed Monday through Friday should be shipped three working
days after we receive them, if in stock. Weekend orders should be shipped
by Thursday.
Item not in stock
If an item is not in stock, you will be notified and be given the opportunity
to either backorder, substitute or cancel.
DELIVERY (all shipping
charges include Insurance)
When you click "Check Out" on your invoice you will be asked to choose
the shipping method. You click on the drop down menu which shows the shipping
services and the actual charge for your order. Select your preference,
and the amount will be added to your invoice.
The options are:
South Africa:
1. Economy Parcel post. (Tracking Tel.No. 0860 111 502; or www.sapo.co.za Track & Trace when it is working.)
This is the most economical service. It takes 5 to 12 days to reach most
destinations in South Africa.
2. Overnight to
Post Office (Speed Services) (Tracking Tel.No. 0860 023 133)
Overnight service
to Post Office Counter, or P O Box if you have one. The parcel is held
for you in the Priority section of the Post Office for two days, after
which it is treated as a normal parcel. This service is most economical
for smaller parcels, weight of contents up to 1.7Kg.
3. Courier Delivery Service
This service provides delivery to your home or office. Please specify the
exact delivery address when you "Check Out". The Courier will phone to
check a convenient delivery time - so they need all contact details.
Parcels should arrive within 2 to 6 days, depending on whether you are
in a major centre close to Gauteng or are further afield. If The Courier
is unsuccessful in making contact after 7 days, the return process will
begin.
Shipping rates within Gauteng and to major Centres (eg. Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, East London, Nelspruit, Bloemfontein) are probably below those quoted.
If this is the case, we will manually reduce the charge before processing your order.
Shipping to remote areas incurs a R350.00 surcharge from the courier.
We will phone you to discuss your options.
Outside South Africa:
The parcels are shipped per Insured Parcel post, Airmail. There are
6 different zones for shipping charges. To the States, to Europe and to
the UK parcels normally take about 12 to 18 days to arrive; to Far East, New Zealand
and Australia about 18 to 25 days.

If, when we pack the parcel, the actual charge turns out to be less than below,
for example for lower value parcels, we will manually reduce the charge. |
Agreement
By accessing or
using the Wesley's website you agree to be legally bound by the following
conditions.
Legal Restriction
We cannot, by law, sell tobacco products to anyone under the age
of 18 years.
Tobacco, snuff, cigars and cheroots may only be sold to persons over the
age of 18. If you order these tobacco products, you are affirming that
you are at least 18 years of age. The use of a credit card is deemed to
offer sufficient proof of age.

We are committed to protecting your privacy, to ensure that your Personal Information we collect is used properly, lawfully and transparently.
Personal Information
According to the POPI Act, this means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person; and where applicable, to an identifiable, existing juristic person; for example a company name and registration number.
How we protect your information.
We use the appropriate collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access. This includes, but is not limited to, encrypting computers and back up discs, locking away all current papers and shredding all documents no longer required.
How we use your information
Wesley’s Display and Information Website: www.wesleys.co.za. No information is collected. We may suggest links to other websites or to YouTube. Such sites / videos may contain 3rd party cookies and you may like to check their policy about the use of such cookies.
Wesley’s Shopping Platform: www.wesleys.shop. (Under construction July 2021) Collects the personal information necessary to process and deliver orders, and may use cookies to improve your shopping experience.
Wesley’s Database: We respect the privacy of anyone who gives us their contact details for our database. We use the information you give us only to send fortnightly emails containing information and offers, alternately to pipe lovers and to cigar lovers. Every email contains a simple opt out instruction.
Wholesale Division, CG Agencies: collects customer information for accurate invoicing and delivery, and to email product information and special offers.
Sharing your information
We don’t share your private name and contact details with anybody.
We may provide your company name and contact to a customer of ours who wishes to use your services.
Children’s online privacy protection act
We don’t collect any information from any person who we know is under the age of 18 years.
Data retention
We will not retain your Personal Information for longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose for which we collected it, unless there is a lawful basis or legal requirement for us to retain your Personal Information for a longer period.
Right to lodge a complaint

Returns Policy
& Warrantees
At Wesley's, we sell all of our products with a 14-day Satisfaction Guarantee
to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchases. We will gladly
refund your money in full - minus original shipping costs - as long as
the item has not been used and is returned in its original packaging.
We hope it never comes to this, but if it ever does, please contact us
by e-mail or fax (+27 11 4401292)
and let us know why you were not happy with your purchase.

If there was something we forgot to mention in our product description
or if the product does not meet your expectations, we'd like to know!
Items 'not working':
Our products are covered by manufacturers' warrantees against breakage
or damage caused as a result of "normal" use.
E-mail us with a description of
the problem, and details of when it was bought. We'll contact you to let
you know whether the item should be returned for repair or replacement.
If the fault is a manufacturer's defect - then it will all be no
charge, and your return postage will be refunded to you.

Ordering from Wesley's is safe and secure. From the moment you enter our
"shopping cart", you are on a secure server, using what is called SSL
(secure socket layer) technology - the industry standard - and M-Web SafeShop,
among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions.
It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number,
name, and address, so that it cannot be read as the information travels
over the Internet. We form a part of the M-Web Shopping experience.

Disputes
Any dispute of whatsoever nature arising out of this agreement concerning
any of the rights and/or obligations of any party thereto, either during

thereof, including any dispute as to the validity of the agreement, is
hereby referred to the arbitration and final decision of a single arbitrator
who shall be appointed by agreement between the parties, or failing agreement
at the request of either party by the Chairman for the time being of the
Association of Arbitrators, and the parties agree to accept his award
as final and binding upon them.
The arbitration
will be conducted under South African law.
The cancellation of
this agreement by either party for whatever reason shall not affect the
validity of this clause.
