International Cigar Selection

Dominican Republic - Davidoff Grand Cru No.4 (Long Half Corona 117mm x Ring 40)
Davidoff became disenchanted with his cigars from Cuba in the 80's and moved production of cigars bearing his name to a Dominican factory - he did not want to sacrifice his reputation for excellence. The leaf grown in Dominican soil is slow burning, mellow and naturally lighter than Cuban – so the traditional Davidoff cigar is a blend of subtle, light tobaccos. The ideal correlation between length and ringsize delivers a fulsome flavour with a comfortable draw for the 30 minute duration of the smoke.

EuropeLa Paz "Corona Superiores CK 126"  (Long Half Corona 114mm x Ring 41)
Since 1814 the name La Paz has stood for enjoyment in smoking - good-looking cigars with a distinctive taste and flavour. They are made of top grade tobacco leaves from Cuba, Java, Sumatra, and Brazil - 100% tobacco without any flavouring or other additives. The short-cut filler leaf allows the natural aromatic oils to spread and mingle, creating a more complex yet light, easy-burning, flavourful cigar – which can be smoked all day. And very suitable for a novice.

CubanCuban cigars must be made in Cuba of only Cuban leaf – the blends are achieved by using leaf from different plantations or parts of the plant, and with different methods of curing.
Montecristo No.4 (Petit Corona 129mm x Ring 40)
Montecristo is one of the top premium brands from Cuba - its biggest in terms of sales and best known. Totally handmade with long filler leaf from from the prime Vuelta Abajo region, and with a classic Cuban flavour, the No.4 is Cuba’s single biggest selling cigar. Smooth and rich, with plenty of taste, it is considered the benchmark for all Cuban petit corona size cigars.
Jose L Piedra Brevas (Short Corona 135mm x Ring 42)
This is a slightly unusual range of cigars, because the leaf is grown exclusively, in the Vuelta Arriba region of Cuba where cigar leaf has been grown since the 16th century. These cigars are made by hand, but from shorter filler leaf – easier to blend and to handle, and with less wastage. An excellent budget range.

Nicaragua/Honduras/Ecuador Quorum Robusto (121mm x Ring 50)
Cigar Masters outside of Cuba achieve their blends through careful selection of leaf from plantations all over the world. Manufactured in Nicaragua, the filler of this cigar is a blend of rich Nicaraguan and Honduran leaf (grown from Cuban seed), with a wrapper from Ecuador. The coastal region of Ecuador has one of the best climates in the world for wrapper leaf. The soil is rich in minerals and natural components; the temperature is mild; and cloudiness gives a natural cover that helps to grow bright, soft and elastic leaves. This wrapper helps to produce a smooth, medium-bodied cigar. Smoke Magazine gave Quorum cigars a remarkable 9.2 out of 10 in the Spring, 2007 issue.
