It has been written that a cigar can satisfy all our senses except hearing.
Here is an opportunity to put your senses of sight, smell, touch and taste to the test. To facilitate this experience we have put together 3 Robustos: Cuban, Dominican, Dominican “Cubanesque”.
Make your own comparisons between the three – try to smoke them under similar conditions preferably after food.  Rate them using the enclosed score sheet.
• Appreciate the appearance, the construction, the aroma;
• Savour the anticipation while you light the cigar;
• Close your eyes and concentrate on the quality and mellow smoothness of the smoke;
• Use the score sheet to evaluate each aspect of the cigar;

Davidoff Millenium Robusto - The traditional Davidoff cigar is a blend of subtle, smooth but light tobaccos. When the American taste for cigars changed, non-Cuban manufacturers created more full-bodied, flavourful "Cubanesque" cigars. Davidoff created the Millenium blend with a wrapper from Ecuador. Typical of the attention to excellent quality – this wrapper comes from a hybrid plant which Davidoff developed with the local farmers over some years. The ideal correlation between length and ringsize delivers a fulsome flavour with a comfortable draw. Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2 - Established 1867, the flavour of this blend makes it an attractive choice for those who seek a delicate yet aromatic Cuban cigar that is lighter to the taste but with great elegance and complexity. In South Africa, since before the 1970’s, the Epicure No.2 has been revered as the ultimate smoke. This popularity was created by the dimensions of the cigar, not necessarily by the blend or taste. The draw is easy; the flavour is full and the length of smoking time comfortable.
