Corona “Blind” Selection
It has been written that a cigar can satisfy all our senses except hearing.
Here is an opportunity to put your senses of sight, smell, touch and taste to the test. To facilitate this experience we have put together 3 Coronas from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic and Cuba – and covered the bands. Make your own comparisons between the three – try to smoke them under similar conditions preferably after food. Rate them using the enclosed score sheet.
This of course is not compulsory.
You can remove the plain bands and experience three great smokes without the mystery.
Or you can try to guess which is which without rating them.
If you’d like to enjoy a “blind tasting” then:
• Appreciate the appearance, the construction, the aroma;
• Savour the anticipation while you light the cigar;
• Close your eyes and concentrate on the quality and mellow smoothness of the smoke;
• Use the score sheet to evaluate each aspect of the cigar;

Quorum Corona (140mm x Ring 43) Nicaragua
Founded in 1895, J.C. Newman Cigar Co. also manufactures such quality cigars as Diamond Crown and Cuesta Ray. Their Quorum is a top quality cigar packed in bundles at an extremely affordable price. Manufactured in Nicaragua, the filler is a blend of Nicaraguan, Dominican Republic and Honduran leaf, with a wrapper from Ecuador. The coastal region of Ecuador has one of the best climates in the world for wrapper leaf. The soil is rich in minerals and natural components; the temperature is mild; and cloudiness gives a natural cover that helps to grow bright, soft and elastic leaves.
Smoke Magazine gave Quorum cigars a remarkable 9.2 out of 10 in the Spring, 2007 issue.
Casa de Garcia Corona (138mm x Ring 43) Dominican Republic
